EV Charger Installation — Long Island, NYC & Westchester County
Homefront Energy is a Tesla Certified EV charger installer serving Nassau County, Suffolk County, New York City, and Westchester County. With 600+ EV chargers installed across residential, commercial, and multi-family properties, we are one of the most experienced EV charging contractors in the New York metro area. Every installation is handled by a licensed Master Electrician, pulled with real permits, and completed to final inspection standard.

Level 2 Home EV Charger Installation
A Level 2 home charger is the standard for residential EV charging. It charges your vehicle 5 to 10 times faster than a standard 120V outlet and works with every electric vehicle on the market today.
We install all major Level 2 home charging brands including Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint, Emporia, JuiceBox, Ford Charge Station Pro, and more. Most residential installs are completed in a single day. We handle the permit, the wiring, and the inspection from start to finish.
A Level 2 charger draws 32 to 80 amps continuously depending on the station. If your home is running on 100-amp service, a panel upgrade may be required before installation. We assess this during your free site evaluation and can complete both in a single coordinated project.
Vehicles we install for: Tesla, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rivian, Ford, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Kia, Volkswagen, Audi, Volvo, and all other EV brands.
Commercial and Multi-Family EV Charging
We specialize in commercial Level 2 and DCFC installations for parking garages, retail centers, apartment buildings, HOAs, and restaurant franchises. We have experience wiring EV infrastructure for major national chains and can manage projects from a single charger to a full charging depot.
Commercial projects include load management systems, network-connected chargers, permit coordination with the applicable municipality, and utility coordination with PSEG Long Island or Con Edison.
Bi-Directional Charging — Vehicle to Home (V2H)
If you own a Ford F-150 Lightning. Tesla Cybertruck, or any vehicle with V2H capability, your truck or SUV can power your home during an outage — no generator required. We install Tesla Powershare, Ford Intelligent Backup Power, and GM Powershift systems.
Very few contractors in the New York metro area have hands-on experience with bi-directional systems. We are one of them. If your installer hasn't done a V2H install before, this is not the job to figure it out on.
PSEG Long Island and Con Edison Incentives
PSEG Long Island customers on Long Island may qualify for rebates through available incentive programs. Programs and eligibility change periodically. We stay current on all active programs and manage the full application process on your behalf.
